Don’t Delay Obedience
00:00:09 – 00:14:21
Don’t delay obedience. That’s the message I’ve got for you today. Give me two minutes to dive into God’s word and let’s see how we can apply His truth to your life today. You know, we’ve been going through the Book of Genesis in Chapter 22.
00:14:21 – 00:32:05
We’re coming upon Abraham being asked by God to sacrifice his son, Isaac. That just seems insane to me. Here was God telling him, This is how I’m going to multiply your descendants. Isaac is that promised son. You’re going to see abundance through him.
00:32:17 – 00:55:04
Yet God says, I want you to sacrifice him for me. What would you do in that circumstance? What did Abraham do that we can learn of? Let’s look at that in Chapter 22:3, “and Abraham rose up early in the morning and saddled his donkey and took the two of his young men with him and

Isaac, his son. And he took the wood for the burnt offering and rose up and went up onto the place of which God had told him.” This sounds like a man on a mission. He didn’t wait. He didn’t procrastinate.
01:11:13 – 01:28:13
He took the initiative and rose up early. Think about that for a second. God is asking you to do the seemingly impossible something that seems just nonsensical and beyond comprehension. Yet Abraham didn’t delay. He got up early. He rose up early.
01:29:13 – 01:44:10
Keep that in mind today as you go about when God is calling you to do something, when God wants to bless you. Don’t delay the blessing. Don’t delay obedience. Go out and take charge. Right? As the Bible says, Be strong.
01:44:11 – 01:57:00
Be a man. Go out and take charge of what God is calling you to do and be obedient immediately. Not tomorrow. Not when you get a chance. Not when it fits into my schedule. Rather, do it right away.
01:57:23 – 01:59:00
Till’ next time, God bless.
