The human brain is one of the most miraculous creations of God. It’s the most complex part of the human body. Weighing in at around three-pounds, it’s the seat of intelligence, interpreter of the senses, initiator of body movement, and controller of behavior. All this while sitting in a bony shell and washed by protective fluid. It’s 100 billion neurons are capable of simultaneously orchestrating life giving actions and reactions such as regulating our heart, balancing our bodies, processing thoughts, etc.
By the same token, it can also be our greatest enemy if we’re not deliberate of how we use this phenomenal device. James 1:8 reminds us that a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. When we allow our mind to supersede our spirit we’re in danger of letting the flesh control our actions, not the Spirit.
A new path.
